The New Year brings with it all kinds of expectations.  We expect change, a good year, to be blessed by our God.  And at the end of every worship service we receive the blessing of the Lord, "The Lord bless you and keep you..."  But what does it mean to be blessed by God?  What does it mean to be blessed with the name of God?

Who are you, really?  Are you defined by your occupation, your relationships, or your sports loyalties?  Not if you are a follower of Jesus Christ.  Those who belong to Jesus Christ are members of His body, and it is our relationship with Him that defines us.  And that identity does not just define us, it unites us as one in the body of Christ.
