Dr. Nathan Jastram of Concordia University Wisconsin has created a presentation for anyone who plans on viewing the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit at the Milwaukee Public Museum. Dr. Jastram is one of the world's top authorities on the Dead Sea Scrolls. Our high school youth ministry - Youth in Christ will be presenting it's annual spring play on Friday and Saturday night, March 12th and 13th.  This year's play is one we did way back in the spring of 1997 - Inspector Detector and the Precious Treasure.  It will certainly be a fun-filled evening.

Last spring, Rick Adams, Director of Youth and Family Ministry from Trinity Lutheran in Mequon and Tim Dittloff, District Vice President of the Lutheran Extension Fund, led over 30 men on a weekend journey that explored the topic of “The Man I Want To Be”. During the course of this weekend, we will continue that journey by adding three more sessions on that same topic.

We’d like to celebrate with parents of recently baptized children the joyous occasion of the new birth and renewal brought about by God through the waters of Baptism. We want parents to feel encouraged and supported by our church family here at Trinity as they embark on the awesome (and perhaps intimidating) task that lies ahead in becoming a Christian parent. The resources and information shared during this breakfast and program will offer that encouragement and support.

Trinity Freistadt to Host Dr. Paul Maier
Trinity Lutheran Church of Freistadt will serve as host for a one-day seminar by Rev. Dr. Paul Maier. The seminar, entitled “Christianity and the Competition” will be held on Saturday, September 23rd in Trinity’s gymnasium. Dr. Maier serves as the Russell H. Seibert Professor of Ancient History at Western Michigan University and currently also serves as the 2nd Vice President for the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. More

The members of Trinity Lutheran Church and School of Freistadt cordially invite all of our friends and neighbors in our community to join us for an old-fashioned church picnic to celebrate our nation's birthday.  Step back into a simpler time to enjoy the music of the Alte Kameraden German band and the Pommersche Tanzdeel Dancers. 

Worship with us in a special outdoor worship service, and take a tour of our own Trinity Historical Society, with presentations of what life was like 167 years ago, when our church was established.

Come for the parade, and even have your children participate in it with their own decorated bicycles and wagons.
Lots of delicious food will be available, along with games for the children.  It's a perfect way to celebrate the 4th of July.

An Evening of Fun, Fellowship, and Delicious Food!
WEDNESDAY, MAY 10TH - 6:00 P.M.

Ladies of Trinity, join us once again this year for our annual “Ladies’ Night Out” - with dinner provided by our Men’s Ministry.

This year, we are pleased to introduce Mrs. Amy Meyer as our featured presenter.
We want to make Ladies’ Night Out an opportunity for all of Trinity’s women to invite their friends, relatives, and neighbors to get a “taste” of what Trinity is all about. Registration for Trinity’s members this year is $5, but any unchurched guests you bring are absolutely free.
Our evening’s schedule is as follows:

6:00 to 6:20—Wine and Cheese Tasting
6:20 to 7:00—Dinner
7:00 to 7:45—Mrs. Amy Meyer
7:45 to 8:15—“Build Your Own Sundaes”
8:15 to 8:30—Closing Devotion
Everything takes place in Trinity’s gymnasium. Registration deadline is Sunday, May 7th.

We have been graciously invited to participate with the men of two of our sister congregations in the South Wisconsin District, Divine Redeemer Lutheran in Hartland and Our Redeemer Lutheran in Wauwatosa, in a retreat called “Every Man, God’s Man” to be held at the Holiday Inn in Manitowoc. Door County in Autumn. What could be better than that? Trinity’s Family Ministry Team would like to invite you to a Christian Couples’ Getaway weekend to the Scandinavian Lodge in beautiful Sister Bay, WI—September 30th through October 2nd, 2005.

Led by Rick & Kathy Adams, Tim & Nancy Dittloff, and Gary & Marj Janetzke, the focus of this weekend will be for couples to celebrate the blessings of a Christian marriage, and grow into an even closer relationship to each other by growing closer to Christ. Through insightful and practical small group Bible studies, couples will have the opportunity to discuss and develop skills in communication, managing resources, and having a relationship that is more “WE” and “ME”.
