Many of the Church’s most beautiful hymns are those reserved for the season of Lent. Some of these haunting melodies have helped set the tone for Christians’ observation of this time of repentance for half a millennium. But it is the words of these hymns that reach compellingly inside of us to turn our pride inside out and fix our eyes on Jesus. Join us on Wednesdays for the next six weeks as we allow the words of these hymns to guide our meditation on God’s Word through the sermon series, Hymns of Lent.
