 Dear Parents of Trinity’s 3rd Graders:
At your child’s baptism, you made sacred promises to God regarding how you would raise this precious child, newly adopted into His family. One such promise was to place in their hands the Holy Scriptures. Trinity is providing a unique and meaningful opportunity for you to do just that, while inspiring other parents to remain faithful in their duties to provide faith nurturing homes for their families.
Here is a brief summary of what to expect during our sessions on the 12th & 19th:
- Free FAITH ALIVE Bible for every family that attends, courtesy of Trinity’s Historical Society.
- Bibles will be presented by parents to their 3rd graders during the worship services on the Reformation weekend of October 25th & 26th;
- Fun and practical ideas will be presented on how to effectively make use of God’s Word in your home.
- Time for fellowship, with coffee and donuts on hand.
Please make every effort to attend. Receiving a Bible from you, in a solemn and sacred setting like during a worship service, is something that your child will never forget, nor will you! We will meet in Room 302, which is Mr. Hovey’s classroom, from 10:00 to 10:50 on both the 12th and 19th. Attendance at both sessions is strongly encouraged.
