Amy MeyerAmy Meyer grew up in St. Louis, MO and graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Speech Communications. After graduation she worked at the International Center for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod for the Board for Communications Services. Amy and Jeff were married and went to serve their first congregation in Des Moines, Iowa. After 4 years they went to serve First Immanuel in Cedarburg, WI. After 2 ½ years Jeff accepted the call to be the Senior Pastor at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church in Madison where they have been for 7 years. Amy is on staff at Christ Memorial part-time as the Minister to the Christian Home where the goal is to make home the center of faith development. She enjoys singing on the worship team, leading a Mom to Mom Bible study and speaking to various women’s groups.
Perhaps her greatest joy, in addition to being Jeff’s wife and partner in ministry, is being Mom to Kyla 16, Kacie 12, Abbey 9, and Allison 7. It is a privilege to share her love for the Lord with the girls and watch how God works in their lives.
Amy’s presentation will be called “You Are Worth Full Value Through Jesus” based on Luke 13:10-13, the story of the bent over woman. Amy will touch upon six major themes:Crippled
