The School Year Begins!

Upper Grade Classroom Wing Opened!

We were granted occupancy of the four classrooms in the "1956" wing of our school this afternoon. That means that grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 will now occupy those rooms. Mrs. Knuth's 3rd Grade will temporarily occupy the first classroom (Room 301) until her permanent room becomes available along with 5K, 1st, and 2nd grades. Mr. Anderson's 7th/8th grade moves down to the Science/Art Room beginning tomorrow, until their permanent classroom is finished, hopefully sometime next week.

We are excited about moving into these new classrooms. Despite all of the temporary classroom locations on this first day of school, everything went quite smoothly, thanks to great attitudes and cooperation by both students and teachers!

Parents of all of Trinity's 5th-8th grade children (public, parochial, and home-schooled) are reminded to attend the Confirmation Orientation meeting this Thursday, September 4th at 6:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Students of these grades are also requested to attend.

Youth In Christ

What is Youth In Christ? It is the new youth ministry of Trinity - a youth ministry that encompasses all facets for life in the church. For young people in grades 6 through 12, Youth in Christ will provide regular opportunities for

Spiritual growth in God's Word'
Faith sharing;
Fellowship;
Meaningful worship;
Service to our community - both the church community and the community at large.

Meet Our Compassion Child

Meet Jherson Galindo!

For the past 9 years, Trinity’s youth have had the privilege of sponsoring various children from an organization called Compassion. Compassion’s mission is to bring physical help in the form of food and clothing to children in impoverished areas, but more importantly, to bring the Gospel of Jesus to them through the existing churches and schools in the villages, cities, and towns where these children live.

Trinity is currently sponsoring an 9-year old boy from Bolivia named Jherson Galindo. We get periodic letters from him, and our youth take turns writing back to him. Here is a recent message we received from Jherson (dated around Christmas time):
