The leader for the seven sessions of Found Ahead is Dr. John W. Oberdeck, Associate Professor of Theology and Assistant Director for Lay Ministry at Concordia University Wisconsin.

Dr. Oberdeck served as a parish pastor for ten years in Illinois, and for thirteen years taught at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO. He is the author of several articles, including “Speaking to Contemporary American Culture on Sin and the Wrath of God” in the October 2005 Concordia Journal published by Concordia Seminary.

Found Ahead will provide an overview of beliefs about the end time, after which the words of Jesus, the references in the epistles, and the prophecies of the Old Testament will be examined. The study concludes with a brief overview of Revelation.
