The cost for this weekend is $145, which includes two nights lodging and 4 meals. Registrations must be in no later than December 23rd. The registration cost also includes your own copy of the book “Every Man, God’s Man” by Stephan Arterburn, which you will receive when you register. It is important to have read the book prior to the retreat. Not About Doing More, but About Being More Men today are bombarded by voices from every direction advising them on how to enjoy the perfect relationship, how to achieve, to guide, direct, and mentor, how to lead and succeed. Lost in it all is the reality that apart from God, man can do none of these things with any amount of longevity or meaning.
The truth for us is that, in Christ, we are empowered and equipped to be transformed into the men that God desires us to be. It is not about us doing more, but about us realizing what is already in us—the Spirit of God reborn in us through our Baptisms. That’s what this weekend will be all about. Outstanding Teaching The keynote speaker, Pastor Al Klatt, comes to us with a tremendous background in men’s ministry. His presentation will be thought provoking and will address many of the issues that we as men struggle with day to day. Whether it ‘s work, your marriage, or your role as parent, you will find new insights for living that will truly make a difference.
Worship with the “Men of the Cross Worship Band Divine Redeemer’s praise band is made up of a group of outstanding musicians who have dedicated their talent to the Lord. With the help of leader Jeff Lippert, your worship with a group of men sharing your passion and love of the Lord will be an experience you will never forget.
A Life-Changing Weekend This men’s retreat is a weekend filled with powerful worship, solid Biblical teaching, and fantastic fellowship. Men have made new friends that have turned into valued mentors, had their hearts changed for their wives, their children and their church. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity.
