I encourage you to reconsider "never visiting the chapel again."

Focus on the reason for hospital chapels and the great opportunity for evangelism. I know the comfort chapels provide patients and their families, friends, and even strangers.

People visiting chapels especially patients often seek the "comfort" chapels provide. They rarely focus on "foreign religious symbols" (i.e. other gods) or even the chapel decor. Rather, the chapel provides a place of refuge for reflection, prayer, and peace on earth and more importantly in heaven for the Christian.

I know my behavior displays the peace and comfort the Lord provides. Several people in hospital chapels comment on my ability to "weather the storm of pain and suffering". They frequently ask, “How do you do it?” As Paul Harvey would say - and the rest of the story is Family, Great Medical Staff/Care and FAITH! Evangelism - Sharing the Good News!

For now, ignore the decor and writing on the chapel walls/windows: it is the trend to display all faiths in hospital chapels. Focus on the comfort and peace that your Christian behavior provides:: They will know your are Christian by your Love. I’ve heard several sermons on this.
