We want to look good. People in our nation wear the nicest clothes, invest hundreds of dollars in makeup and thousands in plastic surgery. But God's Word calls us to dress up in compassion, humility, gentleness, patience, and love. God calls us to give up the endless pursuit of outward beauty, but rather to be content, thankful, and beautiful in His sight.

God does not just give us a promise of His love. He shows us His love in a child who is born, only to die for us and for the forgiveness of our sins.
