Faith – Real Play – Nature

We work tirelessly to share the Gospel with each child and through the Holy Spirit, work to build their faith. Through their daily routines, children are encouraged to cultivate the fruit of the Spirit (Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control).

Children are born with the natural capacity to wonder. Our philosophy is driven by the children's interests and ideas. They are empowered to solve problems, try new things, collaborate with others and test wonders. As children develop a sense of agency they realize that they are able to make choices and decisions to influence events, and to have an impact on their world.

Children are given large amounts of time to explore nature. They are encouraged to satisfy their natural curiosity, make discoveries, experiment, take healthy risks, appreciate God’s creation, and get muddy while building an understanding of themselves (as they relate to others and to the world around them).

Children are monitored by trained, committed, trustworthy caregivers, who foster curiosity, positive relationships, self-confidence and a passion for learning. Our program is designed to help children develop physically, cognitively, socially, emotionally, creatively, and spiritually in an environment of Christ-like love.

Trinity Lutheran Early Childhood Center of Freistadt is operated by Trinity Lutheran Church of Freistadt and practices the teachings of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in its programs.
